Powerhouse Theatre was founded in 2018 in response to a deep desire of artists, musicians, dancers, thespians, and alike, who are looking for an outlet to express themselves and to be taken seriously in their craft. This is why Powerhouse was created.
Powerhouse is a theatre company dedicated to building up and supporting artists by challenging them to push themselves and their abilities to the next level.
It is our belief that the quality of an artist’s character drives the quality of their performance, which directly affects the experience of all of those involved. Whether onstage for a production, behind the scenes, or in a rehearsal, good character is the foundation of an excellent production.
Our hope is that artists will feel empowered and equipped by the Powerhouse process to take their new skills and work ethic to future stages.
